Well I've got five fithty words to use up but I probably only need 5 over.
So I'm talking about the perun 3 not to be confused with the baton 4 but it does have similar features. But if you want to read past the waffle because I can waffle all day. The baton and perun are very similar. We all wanted the parent to be part of the premium range. Look at me I sound like a shoe but I've been saying this for a long time I wanted this for a long time. Wanted the perun 2 to the fit into the premium range of portable chargers but now it happened. Now that the parents have gone to sleep now we can talk about the real stuff. If you own a perun mini and are thinking about upgrades. It is now a good time considering they are selling the premium package that the baton 4 has. Geez i sound like a Shill. Now the boss is too board to listen. We can start getting down to the meat and biscuits.
No one ever knows what is Olight is ever going to do. I was sent the premium package but I'm pretty sure it's going to be sold individually if history has ever served me correctly.
But why not put their extra biscuits in and get the pack if you have seen my unboxing you will notice that at fits into that little pouch that you may have from previous premium charging cases. The boss has my balls so I am trying to keep my words very tight. But it is very handy having the premium case. Pretty sure it is sold out on their website in Australia for the carrying case. It's a few years old but they'll be dumb not to reissue. I'm not an employee for light I've just got my first slide of free stuff and I'm trying to fill in the quota for the words if you've ever done a English essay which I haven't normally on them personally get sent to the quad during in English lessons. So but any who.
When I tested the Perun they sent to me. I was very surprised that they sent me the one with the baton 4 charging case. But it is different I have noticed that the case on the baton 4 does not fit the perun 2 well. And that is due to us asking for that then when it come out but it was way too late and now they have answered our questions. I'm not trying to be a sucker I'm just trying to make this sound interesting.
This is my brutal statement. If you have a Perun mini. Upgrade now. If you have a Perun 2 and are out in the field and running our juice then upgrade now.
If you've seen any of my video reviews of Olight gear you know I'm no Duff. I can't keep everyone happy and I can only hide the truth and mild words. It is a good product. If you're a collector get it. If you need a good headlamp. Get it. If you're into modern technology and some of the greatest gear you're going. Now get going and get it. When I first see the headband in its prototype stage. I was super skeptical and I still am but it has not done me wrong. I have not flogged its log. But I've given it a smashing. I am so used to my Perun 2 that lives on my SES helmet. I've had the parents free prototype for a long time and now the new version that is way better than the prototype that they just sent me the other week. The prototype I wasn't happy with. The version they sent me with the printe box and everything ready to go out to everyone else. It is an improvement. I've put it up against the baton 4. I've put it up against the perun 2. The only difference I could in a short period amount of time with the new version. The button is a lot quicker the UI Is a bit difficult to get used to but like anything you'll get used to it. It is way better to use with wet gloves then the rubber button that is on the perun 2 and I assume that is why they are changed it to the plastic button. I don't know why I assume it would last longer but again just. Look when your gloves are wet you understand everyone that uses wet gloves you would know.
I don't want to lie to anyone I've not had this new version for very long. I cannot see much difference between the two and the three. But if you're going to get the three get the premium. When you're out in the field you don't know how long you're going to be out there for you might want to throw your lighting to the case for a little bit just give it a little bit of extra charge because you'll never know. Anyone that uses a torch a lot. Knows what it's like to run out the turbo. Sometimes at turbo. And then when it's gone you know what's gone. Again I'm going to sound like a shill. But with the baton 4 premium. Anyone that has put that on their hat brim. When you run out of turbo. You wish you just throw into something and just give it that little bit of extra go.
At this time I'm rushing you out I'm listening to rage against the machine. Is 3:30 a.m. four days before release. I just get free stuff. If my review goes up it goes up if it doesn't it doesn't. If I don't buy the biscuits I didn't get any more free stuff.
As I always say get it well it's on sale f*** playing full price.
(I haven't had the time to be able to work this out properly. The perun 3 does have a little more biscuits then the perun 2. But knowing physics that means it's gonna have a cost of charge. Assumptions are that is why it comes with the charge case.)
As much as I'm trying to be a person that wants to try and sell this product I want to be honest to my friends and to my Olight family. From collectors to users. We all know they don't release s***.
